Please note that Carrot Cars do not transport any household items or furniture
Due to the legislation and insurance purposes, all luggage must be stowed in the vehicle’s boot (aka trunk).
Only small handheld soft bags are allowed inside the vehicle and must be stored on the passenger’s lap.

  • Depth: 14 inches (36 cm)

This includes foldable children’s strollers (aka pushchairs), which will also be counted as one piece of luggage.

FAQ

What would happen if I ordered a vehicle that cannot fit my luggage?

We do our absolute best to send you a larger vehicle; however, those vehicles are in high demand, and hence, they are not always available. Extra charges will be applied!

Can I just put the bags inside the car if it's only a few of us traveling? 

Due to licensing, insurance, safety reasons, and further to protect the vehicle’s seats from unreasonable wear and tear or damage – no items are allowed inside the passenger compartment. Passengers are welcome to travel with soft handbags that can fit on their laps. Those items cannot be stored on seats either.

If I cancel the car after realising that it does not fit my luggage, will I still get charged?

Unfortunately, all bookings require a minimum of 3 hours’ notice for cancellation, or full fare will be charged. As we always match up return journeys for all drivers, they will travel to your booked destination regardless of the cancellation.
